I must give props to the animation studio and the manga artist for the designs of the black characters. Musa looks distinctively different from the other black characters, even though they are side characters, they themselves look different from each other. The character design is spectacular, some of them even look like their from Kenya. Thus creating a diverse cast of characters.

My only problem with the anime is that they didn’t tell us who Hanako likes. Musa is a real friend for keeping it a secret. I’m going to stick to my theory that she likes both. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Overall, this anime was amazing, I love the plot and character development. I love that even though they were serious, they still found time to enjoy themselves. It made the anime very lighthearted and funny to watch. I would definitely recommend this as a must watch sports anime. The animation of them running was done phenomenally and I like the effect they did when characters got in the zone or really enjoyed the sensation of running.

I love the ending and I’m glad that Kakeru beat the record. He probably broke it again in the next year.

It’s a major accomplishment that they came 5th. After all they only trained for 1 year and some of the members weren’t physically active to begin with.
